Yes, entirely. On the day of your wedding, no other event takes place on the estate: the grounds, the drawing rooms, the Pavilion and the Guest House are yours alone. That holds whatever the size of your party — a wedding of thirty takes over the estate as completely as a wedding of two hundred.

Up to 200 guests for a seated dinner in the Park Pavilion (350 m²), and more for a standing reception. The historic drawing rooms of the château take up to 50 people, for humanist ceremonies and small weddings. The smallest party we take is 30 guests.

The estate has 10 bedrooms and 20 beds: five doubles and five twins, one of them on the ground floor and accessible to guests with reduced mobility. Your guests sleep in the Guest House; the couple spend the night in the château bedroom. From 2028, the Farm Cottage will add at least five more bedrooms.

From June to September, Saturdays and Sundays are only available as a weekend, with at least one night on the estate. The rest of the year, a single day is possible at the weekend as well as midweek. In high season, dates usually go twelve to eighteen months ahead.

In France, only a civil ceremony at a town hall is legally binding, and it must take place in the town where one of you lives or has a documented connection. What happens at the estate is the ceremony you design yourselves — a humanist ceremony, led by whoever you choose, with no legal standing but all the meaning. Most couples marrying here from abroad hold the legal ceremony at home beforehand, then celebrate with us. The town hall of Vexin-sur-Epte is a few minutes away if your situation allows a French civil ceremony.

Yes, and wherever you like: the whole estate is yours. We have our own favourite spots to suggest — under the 250-year-old cedar, at the bandstand behind the château, beside the ponds — but if another corner speaks to you, it is yours. We walk the grounds together at the visit, and the light changes enough through the day that the hour of the ceremony matters as much as the place.

Norman weather does as it pleases, and nothing is cancelled for it: every part of the day has an indoor equivalent. The drinks reception moves into the château drawing rooms, and dinner is held in the Park Pavilion in any case, which is covered and heated. If you would rather stay outside, marquees can be hired and put up in the grounds, sized to your numbers. The decision is made on the morning itself, with you.

Of course. The grounds in front of the château are a fine place for dinner outside, and it is one of the best things the estate allows. Two things to plan for: outdoor lighting for dusk, which your supplier sets up during the afternoon, and the fact that the dancing will still be held indoors, so as not to disturb our neighbours.

Yes, with one exception: catering goes through Maison Erisay, our partner caterer, who knows the estate inside out. We also work with other caterers when your celebration calls for a particular service, kosher or halal weddings among them. For everything else — florist, photographer, DJ, decoration — you are entirely free, and we will give you our recommendations if you want them.

Exclusive hire of the estate, the reception spaces, the bedrooms for the nights you take, the ceremony on site, and someone with you from the first visit to the day itself. The price is built by addition: hire for the day, then each night, then the optional extension on the Sunday. Catering and suppliers (florist, photographer, music) are quoted separately. All prices are in euros and include VAT, and only the written quotation in your names is binding.

The brunch itself is provided by the caterer, not by the estate. What we provide is the time: by default you leave at 11 am on the Sunday, and the extended Sunday keeps the estate yours until 4 pm, long enough to have brunch without watching the clock. It is what most couples staying two nights choose.

The evening runs until 3 am in the Park Pavilion. Dancing is always held indoors: the estate sits in a quiet spot and we intend to keep it that way for our neighbours. The grounds stay open to your guests all night.

By car, allow an hour from Paris on the A13 or the A15, with 35 parking spaces inside the estate gates. By train, Paris Saint-Lazare reaches Vernon in 45 minutes, then a 15-minute shuttle brings you to the estate — a solution guests appreciate when they would rather enjoy the evening without driving. The nearest airports are Paris Charles-de-Gaulle and Orly, both about two hours away by road.

We would strongly encourage it: photographs make you want it, the visit decides it. Tell us your dates and when you are free, and we will arrange to meet. You will see the grounds, the drawing rooms and the Pavilion, and we will answer your questions on the spot. If you are coming from abroad, we can also walk you round by video call first.

After the visit, we send you a written quotation in your names. The date is held once the contract is signed and the deposit paid. We remain your only point of contact until the day itself: no platform, no middleman.
